The Challenge: A Region Left Behind
Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest province by land area, yet it remains one of the country’s most socially disadvantaged regions. Despite its rich cultural heritage and natural resources, persistent economic and structural challenges continue to hold communities back.
Independent assessments indicate that over 60% of the population lives below the poverty line. This reality is even more severe when factoring in housing quality, healthcare access, education, and basic services. Across many districts, families face long-term hardship due to below-average access to clean water, healthcare availability, employment opportunities, and literacy levels.

The Reality in Quetta

- Difficulty affording regular meals.
- Limited access to quality educational and religious institutions
- Insufficient healthcare services.
- A severe lack of safe, structured spaces for youth development.
